The family of Desiree George, a vibrant thirty-one-year-old mother of two, spoke of her in only the most loving of terms. Over the Labor Day weekend she had taken a fateful trip to the buzzing city of Atlanta, Georgia. In the early hours of Tuesday morning, September 5th 2023, she found herself on Browns Mill Road in southeast Atlanta when tragedy struck; several shots were fired that ended her life.
