Get a sneak peek of our newest series, "Tears For Black Boys," where we uncover the overlooked crime stories of black boys and men. Award-winning author John Reedburg's triple role as writer, producer, and director brings these narratives to life, while performer DeMarcus Dark lends his resonant voice. Don't hesitate to share your thoughts in the comments section as we prepare for the full launch. In this episode, we dive into a story from December 31st, 1983. Journalist/filmmaker Carole Langer was the first to shed light on the lives of four young children living in the Edenwald Houses of the Bronx. Her coverage revealed the horrifying abuse they endured at the hands of their parents, and exposed the failures of child services in protecting them. This tragic story ultimately resulted in the death of five-year-old Adam Mann, highlighting how these vulnerable children were abandoned by those meant to keep them safe.
