The accused mastermind behind the murder of rapper Young Dolph, Hernandez Govan, has been released on bond. However, he has already made unauthorized trips and made requests for a curfew, employment, and shopping privileges. Prosecutors believe that Govan orchestrated the killing of the beloved Memphis artist. Court documents reveal that Govan is seeking employment to support his family and has requested a curfew from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Since posting bail on May 11th, 2023, Govan has been under house arrest 24/7. He recently appeared in front of Judge Jennifer Mitchell after the previous judge, Lee Coffee, was removed from the case. Govan was scheduled to appear in court on Friday, Feb. 16th, 2024, but previous motions filed by him were denied by Judge Coffee. During this hearing, it was also revealed that Judge Coffee had accused Govan of traveling outside of Shelby County without court approval.
