Word traveled quickly through the Fort Lauderdale neighborhood. A woman had been discovered murdered, her lifeless body slumped in the back of a van. Relatives and acquaintances identified the victim as Dorothy “Dee Dee” Smart, beloved mother of South Florida rapper Syko Bob. She was remembered not only for her sweet and pleasant nature, but also her son's friendship with Bill Kapri, better known to fans as Kodak Black.
