September 26, 2022, a night of dread and disaster, saw the beloved BreYanna Bailey—the thirty-year-old mother of three—mowed down in her SUV while navigating Chesterfield Square, LA. The fearful chaos that ensued felled other hapless bystanders as her bereaved family fled the area. In remembrance of this catastrophe that stole away precious life, we reflect on our own fragility.
