On a Sunday morning in the backwoods of Mississippi, near Interstate 22, authorities made a grim discovery. The victim, identified as Kelly Sistrunk from Memphis, was found dead under a pine tree with multiple bullet wounds. Canine units and technology helped lead the sheriff's department to her body. Evidence suggests foul play, and Sheriff Kenny Dickerson is determined to bring those responsible to justice. "It's one of the most horrific scenes I've witnessed in my many years of investigation," he says. With a person of interest and an ongoing investigation, it's only a matter of time before the culprits are caught. Working closely with their colleagues in Memphis, this small town sheriff's department is tackling a challenging case that will put their skills and determination to the test.
